Good Friday and Eggstravaganzoo at The Nashville Zoo

The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is holding its annual Eggstravaganzoo this Saturday. There will be Egg Hunts for children and for some of the zoo animals.

Egg hunts will take place on the Zoo’s Festival Field, located behind the gift shop. Everyone is encouraged to arrive at least an hour before the egg hunt times. No reservations are required for egg hunts.

The times are
2 & under……10 a.m. OR 12:30 p.m.*
3 years……….10:30 a.m. OR 1 p.m.*
4-5 years……11 a.m. OR 1:30 p.m.*
6-7 years……11:30 a.m. OR 2 p.m.**
8-10 years…..Noon OR 2:30 p.m**
Please one egg hunt per child.

Watch the elephants crack open their treat-filled, supersized eggs. Sneak a peek as the tigers stealthily approach their eggs before devouring them. Share a laugh as the meerkats curiously gnaw and nibble their fruity eggs.

8-10 years: Noon OR 2:30 p.m

We recommend arriving at least one hour in advance of the scheduled egg hunt for your child’s age group to allow plenty of time to park the car and get to Festival Field.

Reservations
Eggstravaganzoo is included with Zoo admission, and no reservations are needed. Bunny Breakfast and Bunny Lunch are by reservation only.

Traffic Notice

For Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30 The Zoo will open it’ s extra parking to accommodate the extra traffic. This is an area near the intersection of Danby and the Elysian Fields. These Gates will open at 9AM for Zoo members.  You must have a proof of membership and ID ready for Zoo Entry.
