Ghouls at Grassmere begins next week

Ford Motor Company Fund’s Ghouls at Grassmere is back with eight nights of spooktacular fun. Nashville’s largest Halloween celebration featuring 20 trick-or-treat stations, animal shows, costume parades and more is set for October 18 – 21 and 25 – 28 from 5 – 9 p.m. each night.
Ghouls at Grassmere is community favorite designed to appeal to families with children
ages 12 and under. Guests can brave a ride on the Haunted Hayride through the Zoo’s back roads, go for a spin on the Scary-Go-Round, play frightening games at Carn-Evil and shake their “ghoul” thing at the Monster Mash. New to Ghouls this year is Eerie Estate, a 3-D Chromadepth experience designed by students at O’More College of Design. Other activities include Trick-or-Treat Trail, Monster Lab, shows at Monsterpiece Theater, Kookie Kiddie Cove, Dying Traditions and Superstitions Tour, and a souvenir giveaway for kids and parents alike.
Ghouls at Grassmere is $12 for members and $15 for non-members, and includes all activities, rides and parking. Tickets purchased before Oct. 18 receive a $2 discount. Tickets can be purchased at www.nashvillezoo.org until Oct. 18 or at the Zoo’s Guest Services hut daily before 3 p.m. Ford Motor Company Fund’s Ghouls at Grassmere is presented by Target, Piedmont Gas, Outback Steakhouse and HCA TriStar, and supported by GooGoo Clusters, Gaylord Entertainment, Party Patrol and YP.
